The Professional Remodelers Council introduced the inaugural edition of envision magazine at the 2009 Akron Home and Flower Show at the John S. Knight Center. 

With so many choices available in today’s market, envision was created to help consumers seeking reliability, affordability and innovation — a one-stop shopping resource to make smart, informed decisions giving them the ability to remodel with confidence.

Whether it’s something as simple as replacing a few kitchen drawer pulls or a complete renovation, upcoming editions of envision will provide readers with the information necessary to make these projects successful.

Consumers communicate that they procrastinate for a variety of reasons and continue to live and work in environments in need of repair and/or updates. Those committed to moving forward utilizing qualified professionals recognize that making a few changes brings tranquility and renewed energy to their space. So, in answering the cry ”Why did it take us so long to find you?” We launched The Professional Remodelers Council, envision magazine and the PRC Web site (remodelwithconfidence.com) to meet those identified needs.

The Professional Remodelers Council is an extension of the Portage and Summit Counties Home Builders Association (HBA). With more than 65 years of history and experience, the HBA has proven itself to be a reliable source of information and support for its members. Professional Remodelers Council members also share in educational resources available from our national affiliate, The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). Future issues of envision will not only bring you the latest in design trends and product information, but also articles on successful remodeling projects and current industry news.

It is our hope that envision magazine becomes the source that you turn to when you think of making changes to your living space,unused basement space and outdoor space.
